What is Camp Galileo?
Camp Galileo is a summer day camp focused on innovation, creativity, and fun. Campers participate in hands-on projects, team challenges, and outdoor activities designed to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
What age groups does Camp Galileo serve?
Camp Galileo serves students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, with age-appropriate programming.

What does a typical day look like?
Days are structured but energetic and interactive.
Do I need teaching experience?
For Camp Counselor and Instructor roles, a minimum of 460 hours of verifiable experience supervising four (4) or more children is required! This experience can include any structured group childcare experience, such as teaching, coaching, after school care, etc. Summer camp experience is not required.
What does Galileo look for in an applicant?
Training is provided.

What are the camp hours?
Typical camp day is around 9:00 AM β 3:00 PM, with optional extended care shifts.
Is this a full-summer commitment?
Most roles prefer availability for the full camp season, but flexibility may vary by location.
Where are camps located?
Camp Galileo operates in multiple locations, including Denver-area sites, Boulder, Broomfield, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, and Parker.

What is the pay range?
Most roles pay approximately $19β$21/hour, depending on:

Getting camp-qualified through HelloSubs is a process that most applicants complete in about 1β2 weeks.
Submit your initial paperwork, including your contract, reference form, and orientation
Complete background check and required compliance documents
Finish health requirements and certifications (health form, CPR/First Aid)
Complete required trainings and upload everything for final approval to get cleared for work
