Texas Education Agency Background Check Instructions
Please follow the instructions below to complete your Texas Education Agency (TEA) background check.
- BEFORE you get your background check done, please create an account with Harmony Public Schools here.
- Select HelloSubs as the vendor/contractor (if applicable).
- IMPORTANT: Even if you have ALREADY scheduled or completed your background check and you did not create an account with Harmony Public Schools, you will still need to create an account using the link above.
- Once you've attended your fingerprint appointment, mark the date of completion in your HelloSubs Requirements Tab within the Goal "Texas K-12."
- If you don't have access to your HelloSubs account, please email your placement consultant after your appointment to confirm your attendance.
- AFTER you complete your background check appointment, please complete the following consent form, so we can access your results 🙂.
- If you don't complete this step, we will NOT receive your results!
Once HelloSubs receives the results of your background check, they'll mark it as complete within the "Texas K-12" Goal or notify you via email.
