Is my employment status contractor (1099) or employee (W-2)?

All HelloSubs are W-2 employees but given the freedom and flexibility of gig or freelance workers, it's the best of both worlds! Working as a W-2 employee This increases your take-home pay since we cover employer payroll taxes, worker compensation, all other insurances, and training expenses. You will be paid by HelloSubs every Friday via direct deposit or physical checks. Your work hours must be submitted each week via the mobile or web application so that we can correctly calculate your weekly pay.

Your W-2 will be issued to you electronically by January 31st each year. Find more information about W-2's here.
