🎓 ECE Quick Start Bonus

Interested in Early Childhood substitute teaching? You may qualify for an immediate bonus of $300!  This bonus is paid in place of standard expense reimbursement — it is intended to cover your upfront getting-started costs, such as fingerprinting and your health check, and anything left over is yours to keep. You will not receive both the bonus and a reimbursement for the same expenses.  Complete the ECE qualification in ten (10) days or less to earn the bonus. Just follow these steps:


Step 1: Email your placement consultant or support@hellosubs.co to enroll in the Quick Start Bonus

Step 2: Complete the ECE Qualification Checklist within ten (10) days of being invited to begin screening.

Step 3: Once you are activated for ECE and complete your first assignment email support@hellosubs.co to claim your bonus!


Candidates must have completed ALL checklist items in one (1) ten day period to qualify for the Quick Start Bonus. Bonus paid out on first paycheck after first day worked. Have you already completed part of the checklist and want to complete your ECE qualification? Email support@hellosubs.co to see if you are eligible for a modified bonus!

If you do not qualify for the bonus, our standard policy applies: your out-of-pocket getting-started expenses are reimbursed after you complete five (5) worked days — email your receipts to support@hellosubs.co and your approved reimbursement is paid on the next applicable pay cycle.


🤝 Refer a Friend Bonus

Know someone who’d be a great sub? Invite them to join HelloSubs! 
Here’s how to refer:

  • Ask your friend to sign up at www.hellosubs.co 

  • Make sure they list your full name when asked “How did you hear about us?”

  • Once they complete five assigned days with HelloSubs, you each earn $50!

🏫 Permanent Placement Bonus

If you’re hired full-time by a school through HelloSubs, you could receive a placement bonus of up to $100.

To earn this bonus, email support@hellosubs.co with the following info:
  1. Full name of School
  2. Subject/role you were hired for
  3. Official start date

Bonus amount depends on the district and position.
